Nintendo has yet again trademarked another odd name. As we earlier reported about WiiPointer and WiiCulture, another one has popped up which is known as !!M. While it is the Wii turned upside-down, could it also mean a possible ‘instant messenger’ service of some sort? Also are we know seeing a new wave of trademarks popping up as we did with website domain names? Strange, very strange.

maybe nintendo thought they should copyrite !!M before sony tried to rename their console the !!M.

@ sihTdaeRtnaCuoY you are completely right! !!M is not a an upside-down-mirror-image of Wii, “M!!” would be it.

it is also backwards. “!!M” some other people have also comented that it could be Wii’s (Instant Messenging)… IM = “!!M”
I really support this idea and I think this !!M trademark is the coolest trademark of all, I hope they actually use it and even better if it really is an IM service for the Wii *crosses fingers*

!!M is an upside down mirror image of Wii. you just gotta remeber one thing when it comes to mirrors, the left side becomes right and the right becomes left. take a look . . .

Everyone seems to be saying that it is both upside down AND backwards. That is not the case, it was just flipped upside down rotationally, rather than a vertical inversion of the word…. It makes more sense than an inversion, in my opinion…
