Spore, Too Human, Turok, Iron Man, Call of Duty: World at War, Wii Music and Clone Wars have been seen as the biggest gaming disappointments of 2008. The article states:

“Last year, there were two surefire ways to make buckets of money in video games: make a music game like Rock Band and Guitar Hero or make Nintendo Wiis…When Nintendo announced that they would essentially be combining the two in Wii Music, people prepared for something extraordinary. What they got was meh. With a list of songs running the gamut from “Yankee Doodle'’ to “Twinkle Twinkle Little Star,'’ Wii Music underwhelmed big time…(regarding Clone Wars) In the end, Lightsaber Duels felt rushed, which was sad because Star Wars fans had been waiting a lifetime for it.”
