Oblivion Game Engine to Support Wii

Posted by: dvbrevolution in 1. Wii News & Articles

Emergent Game Technologies has announced today that the next-gen engine “Gamebryo” will now support the Wii. This engine will now give developers a chance to have a significant head start by implementing necessary features that usually don’t come with standard SDK’s. The company states that they are committed to “making multiplatform development as painless as possible”.

The engine has been used in games like The Elder Scrolls IV: Oblivion and is currently being used for Fallout 3. The engine has been used in over 200 games including EA Mythic’s Warhammer Online: Age of Reckoning.
