Rumour has it that the latest issue of Game Informer enlisted Super Smash Bros. Brawl as a title to be released on June 1st. Could it be possible? Perhaps, but it would be a huge shocker if an announcement was made real soon as Reggie promised to announce Wi-Fi compatible titles during the first quarter.

If Nintendo were to launch their online system with a game, this is it.

i can’t imagine them launching with this, although that would be awesome
im thnk bwii or strikers will be the first
maybe pokemon, although i have a feeling it wont show up here for a while

For a season that’s traditionally dead for AAA titles or news, I certainly wouldn’t mind seeing it.

June 1 is a Friday…which means it’s not an accurate date. Nintendo launches their titles on Mondays (and their HUGE AAA titles are sometimes released on Sundays).

Any release date that is a 1st is a placeholder date. (Usually… unless it falls on a Tuesday or it’s a confirmed date.) Them saying June 1st is basically saying “We predict it around June.”

I can believe it. Considering the last several years the biggest hits have come out around that time of the year. The get more notice that way also…like SSB needs it though

Too me. I think SSBB won’t come in June. I think It comes out in Nov or Dec.
