First of all, the Revolution doesn’t equal the gamecube, you obviously don’t know what you are talking about.
Secondly a blurry little video doesn’t show much, but either way I still prefer my pictures blurred around the edges instead of sharp anyways, I don’t like seeing sharp pixels, nor do I see how that is ‘better’. When I look at a tree outside it doesn’t have a sharp edge made of obvous squares, so why should they look like that in my game? Bah.

One of the comments on the youtube link by a guy named PatchesSim2 is something I was hoping someone would say but never thought I’d see it on a youtube comment of all things:
explaination:
composite video and s-video can only transfer 352×240 for each frame (352×480 at 29.97fps interlaced; 480/2=240 at 59.99fps). Component separates the video into red, green, and blue channels. You get 720×480 at 29.97fps progressive (all lines appear on the screen at once). However most of the time this signal is scaled down to 640×480 (dvd players do this) so you may not see the full 720×480 resolution. Early DOL001 gamecubes can use a component, but only display 640×480.

The only difference I can notice is the different colour tones. Sure, my eyes probably aren’t trained to see the difference…..

How in the hell can you tell any difference in a video of that crappy quality? You wouldn’t be able to tell the difference between 480i composite and 1080p HDMI from a video like that.

I guess you’re a nub.
