Madden NFL 07 Not Gimmicky, Better than Xbox Graphics

“Just five minutes ago I wrapped up an hour or so hands-on demo with Madden NFL 07 for Wii. And I have to tell you, the game is fun. On top of that, it’s not gimmicky. EA has really invested a lot of time and resources into making the game play well. The controls don’t feel as though they were designed for GameCube and made to fit with the Wii remote. They feel like they were built for the Wii from the ground up, which is pretty much the truth. Within 10 minutes or so, I was moving along pretty smoothly and having a great time with the game.”
“…take my word that the title is solid and actually pretty good looking, too. Not Xbox 360, of course, but definitely well beyond GCN and better than Xbox.”
Personally back at E3 I was worried that the Madden NFL 07 controls were gimmicky as some were implying that it was. But now since Blitz is not available at launch, I’m definitely leaning towards this game.

There was no doubt that I was going to get this game. The only problem I have with all EA games is the piece of sheet they call of manual. They don’t explain nothing in their manuals, you have to discover everything yourself.

Androit, just consider that more realistic, hockey doesn’t come with a manual telling you how to win. :p

It was thought to be cancelled but Midway confirmed last night that it’s still in development for the Wii but it won’t be out during the launch window.
