2K Sports and Konami have announced that they will be bringing over MLB Power Pros 2008 to the United States this coming July. The game will feature 40-baseball teams, Mii support and 10 gameplay modes.

Eight Wii titles out of the top 20 games sold in France from the week of the 14th to the 20th of May 2008 reveal that Mario Kart Wii takes the No. 1 spot followed by Wii Play. Other titles on the list include PES 2008, Mario Galaxy, Mario Party 8, Mario & Sonic, Naruto Revolution and Guitar Hero III.

Originally exclusive to PS3, now it is coming to the Wii:

1up Yours latest podcast has revealed that there apparently is no “top secret, awesome games” for the 4th quarter from Nintendo (at least in North America). Could it be possible that while there will be one big announcement at E3 as promised by Nintendo, that in the fourth quarter what we will see is a lack of quality titles? Is just Brawl, Kart and Wii Fit enough for the rest of the year? Well technically they could be, but at the same time this would give third-parties a huge opportunity to take advantage of the 4th quarter, that is if they have anything solid in development for release during that time period.

Rebellion joins forces with Reef Entertainment to port over the Xbox/PS2 title “Rogue Trooper” for the Wii. The third-person shooter will be known as “Rogue Trooper: The Quartz Zone Massacre” on the Wii and the English “rework” is expect to improve making this the best version out of all others.

It is now being reported that developer Beenox has confirmed that James Bond: Quantum of Solace is in development for the Wii. The company recently worked on Spider-Man: Friend and Foe for the Wii and Activision will be publishing the latest James Bond title.
